The Duncombe Arms is on the B5032 in the picturesque village of Ellastone on the Staffordshire and Derbyshire border, not far from Ashbourne and just three miles from Alton Towers. You can reach us easily from either Junction 14 or 15 of the M6.

From Derby and the East Take the A50 to Sudbury and at the main junction take the A515 signposted to Ashbourne. After four miles take a left turn at Darley Moor onto the B5033 for Ellastone. After two and a half miles turn right at the T-junction and we are on your right. From the M6, Stoke, Uttoxeter and the West Take the A50 until you reach Uttoxeter. At the first roundabout take the first left for the B5030 to Ashbourne. When you reach Rocester follow the signs for the B5032 to Ellastone. We are on your right.

From the Peak District and Ashbourne Follow signs for Ashbourne. From Ashbourne take the A515 heading south-west. After one mile take the third exit onto the A52 signposted for Leek. Then after less than a mile at Mayfield take a left turn on to the B5032 for Ellastone. When you reach the village turn left and we are on your left.
